The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack picked up another convincing victory on Monday September 14th, sweeping the Omaha Nation Lady Chiefs 3-0. TCNE controlled the match from start to finish, winning by scores of 25-13, 25-17 and 25-13.
Senior Joslyn Mackling led the Wolfpack attack with an impressive 20 kills on 39 attempts, hitting .487 for the match. Sophomore DeLaney Fuchser added seven kills, while Cora Ridenour contributed six. Junior setter Ally Belt directed the offense with 30 assists as TCNE finished with 38 kills.
The Wolfpack were especially effective from the service line, recording 15 aces. Briley Anderson led the charge with eight aces, while Emily Mitchell and Jayda Stallbaum each added two.
Defensively, TCNE collected 47 digs. Mackling led the team with 13 digs, followed by Mitchell and Belt with eight apiece and Ridenour with seven.
The balanced effort helped the Wolfpack take care of business on the road and come away with the 3-0 sweep over the Lady Chiefs.
The TCNE Wolfpack look forward to a stretch of home games taking on Creighton at Allen High School on Thursday September 17th followed by Wausa on Monday September 21st also in Allen.
