Allen attends Lewis and Clark Honor Band

On Saturday, January 18th, 15 members of the Allen band consisting of 6 high school and 9 middle school members participated in the Lewis and Clark Conference Honor Band. This was the first time that the conference had held a junior high honor band and a 9th-12th grade honor band. The high school students auditioned to receive chair placements. 1st Chair is given to the best audition in each section/part. The results are as followed:

Gabe Olesen, 12th grade, 1st Chair 1st Trombone

Joe Roth, 11th grade, 1st Chair Contra Bass Clarinet

Rebecca McNear, 10th Grade, 1st Chair 3rd Trombone

Joel Schauer, 9th Grade, 1st Chair Tuba

Emma Waldo, 9th Grade, 1st Chair 2nd Alto Saxophone
