Physical Science Class Water Rockets
On Friday October 11th the 9th grade Physical Science class launched their water rockets with most of the school watching from a safe distance. This year’s class made some of the best rockets ever. One of the goals is to launch the rocket across the length of the football field and make it through the goal post on the far side of the field. This year is a small class with only seven 9th grade students. Of the 7 students 4 students made it through the goal post on the far side of the field, that is a 90-yard field goal! Students winning the longest launch were Emma Waldo, Joel Schauer, and Hugo Reyes. Students winning the highest altitude were Emma Waldo and Hailey Millard. The water rocket project is done each year in 9th grade Physical Science and the launching of the rockets is an event that the whole school looks forward to.
