TCNE Wolfpack saw its momentum slowed Friday night, as they dropped a 66–48 decision to the Cougars of Cornerstone Christian School in non-conference action.
Coming off an impressive 65–41 road win over Stanton earlier in the week, TCNE looked to carry that energy back home but was unable to overcome a strong Cougars squad. The loss marked the second straight defeat to Cornerstone Christian dating back to their previous meeting in January 2025.
The setback dropped the Wolfpack to 2–7 on the season and extended a home losing streak that dates back to last year. Despite the recent results at home, the Wolfpack have continued to produce offensively, averaging nearly 55 points per game over that stretch.
Tri County Northeast will aim to bounce back Monday, January 5th when it hosts Bancroft-Rosalie.
