After cruising to a 43-22 win over Tekamah-Herman a year ago, Tri County Northeast found the rematch far more challenging. The Lady Wolfpack came up short Monday night, falling 44-38 to the Tigers on December 22.
The loss marked a second straight setback for TCNE, which struggled to keep pace in a tightly contested game. Tekamah-Herman leaned on a balanced effort, that made it difficult for the Lady Wolfpack defeat, dropping them to 2-4 on the season.
TCNE is scheduled to resume play on Monday December 29th at the Stanton Holiday Tournament, where they will take on Twin River at 2 pm.
