TCNE Lady Wolfpack Drop Tough One at Home Against the LCC Lady Bears

The Tri County Northeast Lady Wolfpack ran into a sharp-shooting Laurel-Concord-Coleridge team on Friday night, falling 73–42 in a non-conference girls basketball match-up at Emerson-Hubbard High School on Friday December 12th.

TCNE battled defensively but struggled to match LCC’s offensive rhythm. The Lady Wolfpack shot 36 percent overall and 15 percent from beyond the arc, making it difficult to keep pace as the Bears consistently capitalized on open looks.

Joslyn Mackling led TCNE with 8 points while also contributing across the stat sheet with 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 7 steals, providing energy on both ends of the floor. Briley Anderson added 7 points and pulled down a team-high 9 rebounds, anchoring the Wolfpack inside against a physical LCC frontcourt. Delaney Fuchser chipped in 6 points on efficient shooting, while Sam Rastede and Cora Ridenour provided defensive minutes off the bench.

Despite the final margin, the Lady Wolfpack showed flashes of defensive pressure, forcing 16 turnovers and competing on the glass. With a young roster continuing to gain varsity experience, TCNE will look to build on its defensive effort and improve offensive consistency as the season progresses.

Tri County Northeast returns to action looking to translate that effort into results as conference play approaches.
