Results of the Nebraska Junior Academy of Science Northeast Regional at Wayne State College
On March 20, 2026, eleven students from Allen Consolidated Schools competed in the Northeast Nebraska Junior Academy of Sciences science fair at Wayne State College. At the end of the science fair Allen Consolidated Schools has three science projects that qualified for the Nebraska State Science fair. In the Senior Division freshman Kaelyn Ankeny qualified for the Nebraska State Science Fair with her project titled, “The effects of biological treatments on dry land corn production yields.”. In the Junior division 7th grade student Michael Ridenour qualified to present at the State Science Fair, the title of his project is, “Does the number of times eggs are turned effect the hatching rate and weight of the chicks?” 8th grade student Cheyenne Sullivan qualified for the Nebraska State Science Fair, the title of her project is E.coli and UV rays”. The Nebraska Junior Academy of Science state science fair is held at the University of Nebraska East Campus in Lincoln on April 23, 2026.
