TCNE Wolfpack Football~ New Cooperative, New Players, New Coaches, New Season

Launch the media gallery 1 playerHead coach Evan Colfack reports that the TCNE football team will start their firs season togethr as a cooperative between Allen Consolidated Schools and Emerson-Hubbard High School. This athletics co-op has been in effect for the past 2 seasons with volleyball, basketball, and track and field. By the time this co-op was voted into place, the two year football schedules had been set. So, while these athletes have gotten to be teammates in other sports, in football the last two years, they remained opponents.
I have had the opportunity to coach most of these boys in Junior High football. The freshmen and sophomores on this team were apart of the JH TCNE football teams. There is plenty of comradery on this football team already and it only grew over the summer and into the fall. We are going to be a very young football team and learning under a new coaching staff is always a difficult transition, but they have responded well to the change and are eager to get to work.
We have a very tough district with LCC, Crofton, and Hartington-Newcastle always being tough competitors. We also will play a very tough non-district game during week 3 against Bloomfield.
